Most impressive portrait I saw here for quite a while. Your eyes are great even colored in your ID.
The DOF isn't wide enough, every stubble should be razor sharp. That's my only little crit - awesome work.

Unlike aiscape, i like the DOF you have chosen for this one, draws even more attention to your eyes. Good amount of detail (as expected from a 5D with decent lens ).

I don't really have much experience on the field, but when I was made aware of the blurring of the ear, it kind of irritated me a bit. would have been cool to see it sharp all over. 7/7 from me anyways, intense picture!

Would be interesting if you shared the EXIF values with us.

Very well done. your eyes are very strong, and sometimes that can distract from the rest of an image, however the composition and the contrast really help to set off the strength in your eyes. Good sharpening effects.
